SJD Airport Construction & E-Gates

Expect temporary walls and detours at SJD as Terminal 2 kicks off a massive expansion. Allow extra time for departures, but arrivals just got much easier. The new biometric e-gates are officially live. US, Canadian, and Mexican citizens with chip passports can now scan through immigration in under a minute, skipping the old bottlenecks. Plus, the new highway underpass in San José is fully open, speeding up the drive south. Slower departures, much faster arrivals!
