BCS Politics: Dates to Watch
While the actual elections are not until June 2027, the process of deciding who will lead the state and municipalities is already getting underway. The ruling party is making its internal selections over the next few months, which sets the stage for next year’s races.
Here are a few dates to keep on your radar: On August 30, state political leadership is expected to be chosen. On September 21, municipal leadership selections begin. On November 8, local legislative selections take place.
Why does this matter for us here in the pueblo? These choices will help shape who makes important decisions for the Todos Santos and Pescadero corridor for years to come, from development and zoning to water, roads, and infrastructure.
