Pura Vida nació hace 15 años del amor y la dedicación. When Joella Corado opened the very first health food store in Todos Santos, her vision was simple: provide conscious, organic food that sustains both the body and the local economy. A decade and a half later, her market and deli remains a true community sanctuary. Stock your pantry with locally sourced goods, or stay for a lunch made fresh to order. The almond pesto quesadillas and Joella’s famous veggie spring rolls with organic peanut sauce are local legends for a reason. Open Monday through Saturday, 9am to 5pm.
Back in 2016, it became clear that too many families in our area simply could not access pediatric healthcare. What started as a focused effort to connect local kids with doctors has grown into the Padrino Children’s Foundation.
Today, working alongside medical professionals both right here in town and across Mexico, Padrino provides care for nearly 20% of the local kids facing financial hardship. They are treating hundreds of children a year. It is a massive, lasting impact on the health of our community, funded entirely by neighbors and charitable grants who step up to help.
